The most loved and used item in our playroom is the IKEA FLISAT Children's Table with the TROFAST Storage Boxes.

Yes, you heard it right. We love the IKEA FLISAT Children's Table with the TROFAST Storage Boxes because it can be used in many different ways. It is the fundamental piece in our playroom to keep our kids entertained. We continually rotate the storage boxes to suit our needs and the interest of our children.

We use it for:

• Small world play

• Water play

• Bookish play

• Posting activities

• Craft activities

Just to name a few.

With the TROFAST Storage Boxes, the FLISAT Table is a functional table that is not only aesthetically pleasing, with its neutral colours, but also very practical. The TROFAST Storage Boxes come in both large and small sizes which provides a great storage solution for all the loose parts/props/materials/equipment used in our play, and allows ease in setting and cleaning up. The removable wooden top also conceals the contents of the tubs underneath, which is a given bonus as it creates a clear table top, ready for the next activity.

At home, we have several TROFAST Storage Boxes (with the accompanying lids) with different contents stacked and stored away in the cupboard. Some of the contents we have packed in the boxes include craft paper, paints and supplies, learning materials such as writing books and pencils, different sensory bases and play props such as blocks and figurines. We regularly swap out the tubs in the  FLISAT Table to rotate the activities, keeping our children engaged and interested.
